POSITION OVERVIEW:
Research Assistant is needed for endocrinology clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital for study on diabetes in pregnancy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Screen and enroll patients in clinical studies pertaining to diabetes in pregnancy.
- Conduct study visits with pregnant women, infants, and toddlers.
- Take anthropometric measurements including skinfold measures.
- Data entry and other clerical tasks.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant university degree. Ideal for student with a previous degree or in a master’s program.
- Must be available at least half a day on Wednesdays (clinic day), plus part of the day usually Mondays and/or Fridays.
- Occasional travel to be expected.
