Description:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Administrative Clerk will support the documentation related to the Human Resources operations for Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute of Mount Sinai Hospital.

 

Responsibilities of the Administrative Clerk include:

  • Responsible for administrative functions of employee files
  • Organizing and sorting high volume of paperwork
  • Maintains effective communication through various communication tools (i.e. email, telephone, etc.) with various internal partners to compile and action daily tasks as per area requirement
  • Work as a member of the HR team, supporting team as required
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • College diploma or in progress of completing diploma
  • Experience in an office setting, or administrative experience
  • Minimum of six months with experience administration and filing
  • Demonstrated ability to work in the Microsoft Access, Excel, Word
  • Must be diligent while demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as an effectively member of a team or independently
  • Effective interpersonal skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Effective communications skills (oral and written) and ability to maintain confidentiality
